Design Engineer

Civils Qualified Design Engineer – 6 month contract We are partnering with a 'cradle to grave' project delivery partner specialising in planning, commercial and project management.
Due to continued growth in their utilities department, they are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to aid with their development in Macclesfield, Manchester.
Responsibilities * Design and Development: Lead the design of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, reservoirs, and drainage systems, ensuring designs meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
* Site Assessments and Data Analysis: Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather data for the design process, analyzing soil conditions, topography, and environmental impacts to inform project plans.
* Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental engineers, and contractors, to ensure designs are integrated and executed efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
* Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all designs comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines, including preparing documentation for regulatory approvals.
