Description Deputy Principal Scientist – Organic Chemistry Midlands Permanent Salary: Competitive Our client is looking for a Deputy Principal Scientist to join their organics team.
Responsibilities: - Method development from scratch ensuring smooth introduction into routine use- Identify potential issued - Improve and develop new procedures- Provide marketing literature on new methodologies- Good knowledge of knowledge of instrument software- Train other members of the team- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and ensure new and existing methodologies meet the required specifications Requirements:- Degree or equivalent in a related subject area- Experience and knowledge of analytical and instrumentation techniques (GC, GCMS, LCMS) - Experience in the development and validation of methods to meet the requirements of ISO 17025 - Experience in training and assessing competency.
- Technical background with ability to troubleshoot instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to evaluate critically and draw conclusions from scientific and other data.
