We are partnering with a leading telecoms company to find an experienced Data Protection Officer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance with data protection laws, managing risk, and protecting sensitive customer data.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the company's data protection strategy, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
Advise senior leadership on data protection issues and best practices.
Lead internal audits and assessments to monitor compliance and mitigate risks.
Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and stakeholders on all data protection matters.
Provide training and support across the business to maintain a culture of privacy and security.
The Ideal Candidate: Qualified solicitor with experience in data protection and privacy law.
Strong understanding of the telecoms industry and regulatory landscape.
Proven track record in managing data protection in a complex, regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
