We are looking for a 6-month Fixed Term Data Manager, for our client which is a school based in Pill, Bristol, but the role can also be partially Remote.
The client is in the process of changing MIS (Management Information System) providers, having decided as a Trust to move to a new system.
They are looking for some interim support over a 6 month period to help manage the transition and help them realise the many benefits available to them.
They are looking for someone to support the effective use of data across our schools and within the central team, helping to define and deliver our data and reporting strategy, using Arbor, iTrent and our other data sources across the Trust.
Days of Work: 3 days per week Hours of Work: 8-4 or 830-430 Hourly Rate: £15.65 Location: Pill, Bristol To support data management across the School Trust by: Designing, developing and implementing robust systems to streamline reporting and analysis.
Build a centralised data repository, using Microsoft PowerBI as a platform to build, grow and embed effective data-driven decision making across the Trust.
Developing and maintaining dynamic and interactive reports, using Microsoft Excel and Power BI, using our new centralised data warehouse.
Creating and then undertaking routine maintenance and development of Power BI dashboards for the Trust.
Conducting data analysis across a range of datasets to extract valuable insights and trends for leaders and trustees.
Providing data-driven insights to support decision-making Producing data reports for a wide range of audiences including leaders, trustees, DfE and other external bodies.
Collaborating with schools and other teams within the Trust to understand requirements and ensure the development of effective solutions.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data automation processes.
Documenting systems, processes, and data workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Conducting training sessions for end-users to ensure the effective use of developed systems and reports.
Ensuring the Trust and schools are receiving best value from their data management systems.
Producing and implementing data quality improvement plans, ensuring data is fit for purpose and that there are processes to maintain quality.
