Job Title: Compliance Manager Location: Tottenham Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Role: Permanent - Full-Time Permanent Are you a dynamic Compliance Manager, who wants to lead the compliance, health and safety and facilities management across a number of sites.
You will be responsible for the Facilities/Compliance tasks to ensure a safe working and compliant environment for customers and employees within a retail/warehouse and office environment.
This includes compliance of Health and Safety, Food Safety, statutory, contractual and company regulations and processes.

IDEAL CANDIDATE Mandarin or Cantonese speaker Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar legal compliance /facilities role Experience of operating within a commercial food environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, communicate clearly with the store managers, senior managers and all staff Able to write and analyse legislation and respond accordingly Intermediate Excel skills and basic Word skills Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with contractors H&S trained to IOSH standard (preferred but not essential) Food Safety Level 3 Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility Able to remain calm under pressure Detailed and flexibility in both written skills and time management COMPLIANCE MANAGER: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As the Compliance Manager you will be responsible for Health & Safety issues and ensure a safe working and compliant environment for both staff and customers Manage Food Safety and ensure that the Food Safety Policy is adhered to in all stores Carry out monthly Health and Safety and Food Safety and Food label audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented for each site, and provide a detailed action plan to manage any non-compliance with the items prioritised Manage fire safety, pest control, maintenance, cleaning, security etc and maximize the efficiency of internal resources Carry out Health & Safety and Food Safety Risk Assessments and consider how risks can be reduced; develop internal policy and keep documents up to date and retained according to legislation Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation Lead in-house training with managers and employees on Health and Safety risks and Food Safety; liaise with Human Resources to keep training materials and key officers up-to date Record incidents and accidents and ensure RIDDOR is followed Meet with EHO inspectors and local authority officials and follow up on any issues raised Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain policies of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and Food Safety and Labelling and any developments that will affect store operations.
Update and maintain policies Manage specialist areas, e.g.
