Job Position: UKVRN-Certified Nutritionist Job Type: Remote Job Location : London Job Description: We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, experienced and energetic UKVRN- certified nutritionist to join a team of premium healthy Meal Plan companies and help us promote well-being, support fitness goals and cater to diverse health requirements.
As a specialist in food and nutrition, you will guide our customers to cultivate better food habits.
Here's an overview of your potential role as a nutritionist at our company: Conduct tests like BMI analysis and study the eating patterns and lifestyle habits of our clients Provide our clients with professional advice on maintaining or losing weight, gaining muscles, gaining weight, leading a healthy lifestyle and more.
Design, develop and oversee our meal plans to ensure that they are nutritious, balanced and aligned with our customers' health goals Work closely with our chefs, product development team and clients to ensure that the meals fulfill specific dietary preferences, nutritional standards and regulatory requirements Job Roles and responsibilities: Counsel customers on any dietary issues and healthy eating habits Develop nutrition plans while considering the client's budget and tastes as well as the brand's offerings and services Assess clients' nutritional and health needs Evaluate if the meal plans have a positive effect on clients' health and maintain records in the CRM Create educational material about healthy eating habits Contribute to the latest nutritional research Speak to groups & communities about the importance of nutrition to prevent specific health conditions Create content for blogs, social media, and newsletters to educate clients on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and healthy food trends.
Conduct virtual or in-person workshops/webinars on topics such as weight management, balanced eating and specific diet plans Document customer progress and positive effects of our meal plans on customers and get proof of life for the product Implement techniques and methods of measurement of body composition and energetic metabolism, with the aim to assess nutritional status and interpret the results Exhibit thorough understanding of the chemical and structural properties of food and investigation techniques like MS, NMR, and IR to conduct qualitative and quantitative microbiological analysis Work closely with the culinary team and advise on macros and micronutrients specific to the offerings Create SOPs for calorie counting and ensure accuracy in the calorie count as well as food quantities · Ensure overall well-being and satisfaction of clients · Document and follow through on different progress notes of clients · Design and deliver presentations to raise awareness about different facts around nutrition and diseases Introduce automation in calorie counting Attend community programs and conferences related to health and wellness.
Suggest complimenting ingredients and new trends/ practices in weight management and weight loss Showcase exceptional interpersonal skills while dealing with clients and the press Attend seminars and press meetings & represent the brand Market and collaborate with wellness social media influencers to build a vibrant wellness community grounded in ethics, with a shared mission of promoting good health Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition and food science A PhD degree, though not mandatory, would be preferred.
A Registered (RNutrs) or UKVRN License is a must.
10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food or health industry in the UK Strong understanding of nutrition science, dietary trends and nutritional needs across different demographics.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex nutritional information into easy-to-understand advice Proficiency in using nutrition software and meal-planning tools Passion for health, wellness, and sustainable living Preferred Skills: Experience in meal planning for fitness enthusiasts or athletes Knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions (e.g., celiac, lactose intolerance) Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Benefits: Competitive package in terms of salary and benefits Opportunity to work with a passionate team focused on making a positive impact on people's health Continuous learning and professional development opportunities along with PR exposure.
