The postholder will need to provide a full secretarial service and manage a busy schedule of diaries to ensure smooth running of the Chief Nurse and Midwife's Team Office.
The Postholder will work very closely with the Chief Nurse and Midwife and Deputies to ensure that a full administrative and personal assistant role is provided.
This will require liaison with all disciplines of staff , both inside and outside the Trust to ensure that effective communication with others both internally and externally .
The post holder will be positive , with a friendly and helpful disposition and self motivator who takes pride in quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintenance of the Chief Nurse and Midwife and Deputies diaries , including arranging meetings, making appointments, managing the brought forward and filing system.Ensuring effective diary/time management for the Chief Nurse and Midwife to allow for "work time" and ensure that preparations are made for meetings including briefings where appropriate.Manage the inbox of the Chief Nurse and Midwife and Deputies (during times of leave) to ensure messages are dealt with in an efficient and timely way by categorising, diverting, tracking and prioritising messages accordingly University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, bringing together a combined workforce of over 13,000 staff and over 100 different clinical services across 10 different sites, serving a core population of more than 500,000 people across South West England.
