Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bristol, Somerset.
We are looking for a support worker to work a mix of days and waking nights with a young individual who has cerebral palsy.
Our client is a bubbly individual that loves engaging with books, playing games and getting outside.
Main duties of the job The Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with personalised routines, assisting with the care programme, household cleaning, providing emotional support and companionship, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
The role requires previous experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and empathetic nature, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description Job responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bristol, Somerset.
We are looking for a support worker to work a mix of days and waking nights with a young individual who has cerebral palsy.
Our client is a bubbly individual that loves engaging with books, playing games and getting outside.
For this role you must be able to drive as well as have access to your own vehicle.
Working Hours: You will be a part of a team delivering care – this role will be 3-4 shifts per week.
8:30pm - 7:30am (Waking Nights) Day shift - 3 days per week (Monday - Sunday) (Flexible on days) 4pm -8pm Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines.
Assisting with care programme.
Assisting with household cleaning.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Regular supervisions and Check Ins Both online and In-person training Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
