Calibration Team Leader

Job Title: Calibration Team Leader (Calibration and Dimensional experience) Location: Derby Salary: £40,000-£48,000 Job Description: Owen Daniels is seeking a dynamic and motivated Lab Manager to join as a Senior Engineer/Lab Manager you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards Skills and experience they are looking for: Engineering background, ideally within the Aerospace Industry.
Extensive calibration experience Experience with autocollimators, first principles, parallels and cylindrical squares – dimensional measuring equipment experience In-depth understanding and implementation of 17025 Quality Systems.
Previous Management experience or experience training junior employees.
Strong communications skills both to internal teams and external customers.
Extensive calibration knowledge and UKAS certification preferred.
