What you will be doing: Develop and oversee the Capability Delivery Plan using hybrid Project Management methods, engaging with functional and value stream leads to align product development activities with programme objectives and digital strategy Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, especially product owners, to clearly define scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across teams to break down silos and deliver seamless capabilities throughout the business Work with value stream leads and product owners to define success metrics, monitor progress, and analyze data regularly to ensure milestones are met according to the Capability Delivery project plan Identify and capture delivery risks across all value streams, maintaining a coherent view of these risks to assess and mitigate them at the portfolio level Partner with stakeholders across customer, partner, and business groups to ensure alignment and commitment to product adoption, communicating the benefits of digital solutions and addressing any concerns or resistance Collaborate with the Digital Adoption and Change team to integrate change management strategies and deliver effective user engagement plans Lead and manage your team, creating a productive and supportive work environment Oversee and manage the budget for deploying new capabilities, ensuring efficient use of resources Your skills and experiences: Knowledge Capability delivery principles.
Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of digital capability (tools, techniques, practices) in complex environments.

Tools Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Projects Industry-Specific Knowledge.
Knowledge of digital capability delivery across People, Processes, Tools, Infrastructure and Data within a defence, aerospace, manufacturing or related industry Problem solving.
Experience of pro-actively identifying and resolving project-related problems that do not have routine solutions People-centred change.
Understanding of implementing people centric change, including influencing hearts and minds Relevant Project Management experience within complex environments Evidence of continued professional development Experience of Modernising methods Skills.
Communication skills: Effective, clear and compelling communication with customers, partners, senior leadership and technical team to ensure effective digital capability delivery Collaboration skills: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between enabling teams (commercial, legal, supply chain, security) and other change managers to ensure alignment on the digital capability delivery Business acumen: Understanding the financial implications of capability delivery and integration with the wider business strategy Data analysis and forecasting: Using data to measure product adoption success, identify trends, and inform future development Stakeholder management: Able to persuade and influence internal & external stakeholders, including at senior levels both internally and externally.

This exciting and rewarding role will help deliver the new engineering capabilities required to enable the programme to deliver in a competitive environment.
You will be part of the Enablers Delivery Team who are accountable for the end-end delivery of new ways of working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Programme Management and Digital Environments within the Programme, managing projects from requirements to solution development, and focussing on the user experience maximising engagement and uptake of business change initiatives.
You will be working with the Digital team and across our functional areas to translate Digital strategy into new capabilities following a user centric approach, delivering new ways of working across national and international environments.
You will be responsible for a team who will each manage the delivery of components of this Digital Strategy.
