Job Description The Assistant Care Manager is responsible for ensuring clients receive outstanding care while also contributing to the growth of the business.
This role involves working alongside the Care Manager, offering guidance and support to the team, and ensuring that Care Professionals deliver the highest standard of care to clients at all times.
The Role Supporting the Care Manager with day-to-day management of Client care and the team Identifying training needs / follow ups in respect of auditing activity.
Making sure actions given to others are completed effectively. Completion of the Service Reviews and Quality Assurance, identifying ways to grow the Business. Helping with Client Acquisition and initial Client set up. Developing good working relationships Onboarding Clients and being responsible for Clients with complex care needs. Provide quality introductions of Care Professionals to Clients, guiding others on best practice. Support with medication, moving and handling, support visits with Care Professionals. Provide care for Clients as required Being part of the On-Call Rota Have a thorough understanding of and belief in the Home Instead business model Maintain and uphold company standards and ethos Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery. Being a face of the business and increasing potential business growth through networking. Qualifications Person Specification Positive role model, Warm, friendly, cheerful personality who enjoys speaking to people. Team leader / supervisor/ manager experience (minimum 3 years).
Enjoys team working. Ability to write Care Plans to a high standard. Excellent commercial Business Awareness. Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to cope with a fast-changing environment.
Self-driven and committed to completing tasks. Smart, professional appearance Can do / Will do attitude. Additional Information Essentials: Reliable resilient individual, who can demonstrate both confidence and competence in the social care arena. Must have clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service). Driving licence and use of a car on a daily basis Must be confident to use a variety of technology. Must understand the importance of confidentiality and working within current legislation. The Assistant Care Manager works 5 out of 7 days on a rota system which will include alternate weekend work.
