Aircraft Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Component Technician to join our Interior Lighting Division on a full-time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of interior lighting units, including fluorescent and LED lighting systems, with a focus on PCB electronic component repair down to discreet component level.
Responsibilities: Perform repairs on interior lighting units, including both fluorescent and LED systems.
Utilize PCB electronic component repair techniques, addressing issues down to discreet component levels.
Engage in surface mount soldering (by hand, not machine) as required for various repairs.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all repair activities.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience: Preferred: Previous experience within the aviation industry.
Considered: Candidates with similar skills from other industries, with an openness to cross-train into aviation.
Solid engineering experience, particularly in electronic component repair.
Proficient in surface mount soldering by hand.
