Administrative Officer

Pandemic Science Institute, Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility, Old Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 7JT We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer to provide administrative support to all members of staff and ensuring that the office is run efficiently within the Clinical BioManufacturing Facility (CBF) at the Pandemic Sciences Institute, Nuffield Department of Medicine.
As Administrative Officer, your time is split between all aspects of administration to support the day-to-day operation of the CBF office and QA department activities to maintain and improve compliance with current and future regulatory requirements (all covered by formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
To be successful in this role, you will have GCSEs including English and Maths along with proven administration experience.
You will have excellent IT skills (in particular Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat), with an ability and willingness to learn to use new databases and technologies, and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will have good organisational skills an ability to multi-task effectively and experience working on confidential matters.
Finally, you will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels and an ability to communicate and liaise effectively with visitors and colleagues.
This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2027 and is funded by the Department.
