We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join our Integrated Urgent Care team to lead our 111 service on a permanent part-time basis.
We are looking for up to 28 hours a week working as a 111 Medical Lead based in our Bristol call centre with some national travel across our sites.
Well make sure that your skills are kept completely up to date with a dedicated CPD programme.

Main duties of the job Youll use your clinical expertise to provide medical oversight, ensuring that there is appropriate clinical governance, quality assurance and service improvement processes in place in order to ensure we are delivering the best possible care to our patients.
This will include identifying system improvements, pathway improvements and identifying training needs and promoting and supporting clinical audits.
You will work closely with the 111 Clinical lead, IUC patient safety teams and our 111 operational delivery teams.
Our 111 service is 24/7 and deals with over many calls a year.
There are opportunities to makeup full time hours by working clinically in our CAS and OOH services.
This job will be working 7 sessions as the 111 Medical Lead.
Working hours can be flexible but ideally include a Tuesday and Thursday.

A bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs A dedicated management course to teach you all of the skills needed to become a Medical Lead Support from the wider National Medical Leadership team Regional and National Leadership development opportunities, should you wish to progress further Regular education events About us We are looking for a qualified GP who has the following: MBChB MRCGP Inclusion in the GMC Register Inclusion on a CCG Medical Performers List Experience in Medical Management is desirable but not essential Experience of 111 services and Integrated Urgent Care is highly desirable What can we offer you?
