We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team in Paignton.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with an individual child, offering personalised support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant : Provide dedicated support to a child on a 1:1 basis, assisting with their learning and emotional well-being.
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver tailored lesson plans and resources.
Support the child in staying focused and engaged during lessons, adapting activities as needed.
Monitor and track progress, helping to develop the child's academic and social skills.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes confidence and independence.
Essential Requirements : Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A proactive attitude and the ability to use your initiative.
Desirable : Experience working with children with additional learning needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
