Wine And Whisky Bar Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking to add a dynamic and experienced supervisor to our team.
Someone to help with operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on wine and/or whisky knowledge, as well as excellent supervisory skills.
You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities Supervise daily bar and restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality customer experiences.
Train and manage bar staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
Oversee the preparation of food items in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring all culinary practices meet health regulations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels of beverages and food supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role or similar hospitality position is essential.
Some knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards is preferred but not essential Experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
A knowledge of either whisky or wine is required.
WSET Level 2 would be ideal, but not required.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality are crucial for success in this role.
