Conveyancer/Property Solicitor Job description Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer Plympton, Devon or Redruth, Cornwall We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, excellent time management and a keen eye for detail to manage multiple cases efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Probate and Trusts.
Responsibilities Manage the conveyancing process from start to finish, including preparing and reviewing legal documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
Handle financial transactions related to property sales and purchases, ensuring accuracy in all dealings.
Maintain comprehensive records of all correspondence and documentation related to each case.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices to ensure compliance.
Deal with Probate/Estate Administration and all necessary legal documents Prepare Trusts and all necessary legal documents Be competent at using CRM systems/legal software (training will be provided, however an understanding of these types of systems is desirable) Experience Proven experience in conveyancing or a related legal field is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes.
Excellent time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Experience in dealing with Probate/Estate Administration is desirable Experience in dealing with preparation of Trusts is desirable Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
