Killelea House are a community run, interim service that supports people, many with complex needs due to illness or injury, to regain their skills and confidence so they can return home after a period of therapy and support.
We offer a safe space in a lovely, newly renovated residential house and extend our services out to those who have returned to their own homes.
You will assist and support customers, including those with complex needs and behaviours with active daily living skills such as personal care, and skills that will focus on them remaining independent in their own homes.
You need to be a team player who supports, assists and promotes the reablement of customers with identified needs.
The job will be varied and will include practical tasks such as tidying and cleaning up after incidents and to maintain the health and safety of you and those around you, this will also include completing risk assessments for customers and ensuring these are continuously monitored and reviewed.
We want you to create a safe and stimulating physical environment for customers, creating opportunities and choice for customer to be as independent as possible.
Requirements We are confident you will have transferable skills – but you need to want to be the difference to other people's lives.
It's a challenging job at times so you need enthusiasm, commitment, focus and a strong team work ethic.
You will also need a great sense of humour, be kind and be driven to support others.

Enhanced DBS Progression Working with a multidisciplinary team will mean you working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses as well as many other professions therefore providing you with the exposure to a wide range of roles across the Bury Health and Care sector.

Shifts are as follows on a 2 week rota pattern.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
12 noon - 9.30pm £12.38 per hour You will be entitled to a uniform Interview process There will be an application form, pre-screen and recruitment days where you will be offered an interview time slot, followed by compliance checking.
