With a commitment to precision and excellence, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner to our growing client baseRole Overview: As a Welder / Fabricator at Impress Group, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with the utmost precision.
You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.
The role requires close collaboration with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metalsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accuratelyCollaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines Working with various sections, plate, laser cut and machined components 1-30+ mm thick Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standardsFollow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment Skills & Qualifications: Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.Demonstrated experience with variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminium.
