Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our vibrant team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French, Spanish, and/or German to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of A-Level teaching.
You will play a key role in fostering a love of languages, enhancing linguistic skills, and preparing students for their future academic and professional endeavours.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
Contribute to the development and implementation of MFL departmental initiatives and resources.
Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events, promoting language learning beyond the classroom.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching French, Spanish, and/or German at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for languages.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Attributes: Experience teaching A-Level languages.
Additional language proficiency.
Experience with integrating technology into language teaching.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
