Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Portsmouth, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant learning community.
This role commences in September and offers the chance to make a significant contribution to the academic and personal development of young learners.
About the Role The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and fellow support staff to provide essential support to students across a range of subjects and year groups.
This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including: In-Class Support: Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, supporting individual students, and managing group activities.
Pastoral Care: Providing guidance and encouragement to students, promoting positive behavior, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Administrative Duties: Maintaining student records, preparing resources, and assisting with assessments and reports.
Ideal Candidate We are seeking a motivated individual who possesses: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Previous experience working with young people is desirable, but not essential.
