Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, take orders, offer menu recommendations, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Order Management: Effectively communicate orders to the kitchen, coordinate food and beverage service timings, and ensure accuracy in order delivery.
Wine and Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate a good understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage options, and provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
Upselling: Promote menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Table Maintenance: Set up tables, refill beverages, clear plates, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and inquiries promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
About You: As a Waiter/Waitress at , we are looking for someone who: Experience: Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a dining or upscale restaurant setting.
Customer Focus: Demonstrates a strong customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide a memorable dining experience.
Communication Skills: Possesses excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and work effectively with colleagues.
Product Knowledge: Has a good understanding of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings and menu descriptions.
Team Player: Works well in a team environment, collaborates with colleagues, and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
Attention to Detail: Pays attention to detail in order accuracy, presentation, and service standards.
Availability: Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant environment.
Service Skills: Proficient in providing high-quality customer service, order management, and upselling techniques.
Knowledge: Familiarity with fine dining etiquette, wine service, and menu descriptions.
Availability: Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Certifications: Food safety certification is a plus.
