The VP of Communications for the Risk Advisory business is a key member of Kroll's corporate communications team and will be in our London office.
This role will serve as the communications lead for Kroll's Risk Advisory business, partnering closely with the executives in charge of Risk Advisory and their management team to create compelling, timely and firm-aligned content for all their internal/external needs. Central to that effort will be developing and executing intra-Risk Advisory business communication strategies, aligned with the overall firm strategies, to foster a strong sense of culture and cohesion within Risk Advisory, and to support transformation in line with the firm's business and employee engagement goals.
The portfolio of responsibilities of the VP, Risk Advisory Communications comprises all internal BAU (business-as-usual) communications for the RA business and its executive committee members. This includes, for example, but is not limited to town halls, slides, fireside chats, videocasts, memos and blogs across all internal channels (such as email, intranet, phone, Slack/MS Teams). In close collaboration with our external communications team, this role is also responsible for the external presence of the Risk Advisory executives across social media, media and speaking engagements.
This role reports to the Global Head of Corporate Communications.
Note: This position will be located in our London office. This is a mid-level position, 5-7 years of experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities: Amplifying firmwide internal communications projects for the Risk Advisory business, working closely with the Global Head of Corporate Communications, the leads for FA, Transformation, and HR communications.Working in a high volume, fast-paced environment delivering internal communications projects and driving external strategy for the RA business.Executing strategic initiatives, both proactive and reactive short-term and long-term campaigns, that are specific to the RA business.Counseling the executives who head the RA business on strategic communications plans and providing them with executive writing support.Planning and writing RA business content for a variety of internal communications channels, including leadership presentations, newsletters, key messages/scripts, speeches, video and other creative assets.Developing and delivering an external profile for RA executives, including social media, external presentations at appropriate conferences and press in close partnership and collaboration with the global head of Corporate Communications.Acting as a thought partner to the firm's other communications leads, surfacing ideas for potential pieces and opportunities to showcase cutting edge practices and ideas emanating from RA business.Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field.A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in developing internal & external communications, supporting executives, creating and deploying impactful messaging and core materials, developing multi-channel programming to support employee engagement, business priorities, culture, and a track record of delivering solid, measurable results.Excellent writing, copyediting and communication skills; experience managing communications across a suite of channels, including the intranet, live webcast, newsletters, digital signage, Slack/MS Teams.Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.Experience with social media, media and external profile raising.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple projects across different stakeholders; agency experience a plus.Strong experience with MS PowerPoint, SharePoint.About Kroll: Join the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
