Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Technician.
This role involves carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks and complex vehicle repairs.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about automotive work, highly skilled in diagnostics, and committed to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across various makes and models Carry out inspections, including MOT preparation, brake inspections, and emissions checks Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Replace and repair vehicle components such as brakes, tires, exhausts, and engines Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Skills and Qualifications Required: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or in a related role Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, braking, suspension, and transmission Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in identifying and addressing issues Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to adhering to workplace health and safety standards Good communication skills to work effectively in a team and provide updates to colleagues Valid driver's license is required Desirable Skills: NVQ & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent certification Prior experience with MOT testing or certification is advantageous Knowledge of electrical systems and modern vehicle technologies Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break Flexible option to work on Saturdays if needed Benefits: Competitive salary, determined based on experience and qualifications 28 days paid annual holiday, including bank holidays For more information contact me on 07856909189 S16 About Us We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
