They are looking to expand their team in Brighton and are seeking a UK Head of Trading to join them on a full time basis.
You will be responsible for driving market trading and customer acquisition to achieve financial goals and manage inventory effectively.

Experience: 6+ years in Commercial Trading or similar roles; proven leadership and deputising experience; preferable management of UK Stores/E-commerce.

The Responsibilities: Analyse and manage market trading and customer acquisition across multiple channels to meet financial and customer objectives, ensuring the delivery of annual KPIs.
Proactively manage the discontinuation and minimisation of aged stock, along with the clearance of excess inventory.
Lead the Weekly Trading meeting and actively drive commercial participation in other business meetings.
Support, drive, and challenge the re-forecasting of all channels in collaboration with Finance and Digital teams.
Own and execute the Omnichannel Trading Plan, identifying opportunities and risks to KPIs.
Proactively identify Omnichannel EBIT risks and opportunities throughout the business.
Evaluate promotion and discount strategies regarding their impact on customer profitability, flagging any conflicts between long- and short-term objectives.
Assess performance based on new versus existing customers, aligning insights with product and category trends.
Oversee business development initiatives, including B2B opportunities such as gift cards.
