Job Title: Treasury Manager
Location: Brighton Hybrid Type: Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary: £57.5k - 65k DOE & 10% Target Management Scheme Bonus We make health happen Working in our UK support functions you'll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. This role plays a key part in BGIUK's Treasury function focused on Liquidity Management, optimising yield, improving efficiency and reducing costs and FX exposures. You will also have responsibility for treasury aspects of ad hoc projects involving multiple different areas of the Market Units global operations.
The department has a large transformation agenda and this role will be instrumental in helping to deliver that change, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
How you'll help us make health happen: Daily Cash Positioning and Counterparty monitoring & recordingEnsure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements, optimise yield and reduce FX cost.Managing Bank Accounts & Bank MandatesBanking Products & ServicesBank Relationship management within policyResponsible for input, coordination and overview for a variety of internal management reporting on key treasury risks including:Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Treasury ReportQuarterly Board updatesMonthly/Qtrly Investment IncomeQuarterly Compliance checklist and other funding compliance processesQuarterly Risk Register reviews & reportingMonthly Bank Charges Reports and reviewControls recording & reporting in line with policyOwn the monitoring of regulatory updates that affect Treasury and assist in leading projects to ensure compliance.Responsible for ensuring that processes and controls are in line with policy and are robust, clearly documented and operating effectively to minimise operational risks.Help drive improvements in the daily cash process including improvements to reporting on cash management.Help drive delivery of the department's transformation agenda across the Market Unit with a focus on daily operations and reporting processes.Provide Treasury input on ad hoc projects including those involving Finance & other areas of the business that need Treasury & Banking support including M&A.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Ideally hold or be working towards Treasury qualifications (AMCT) and/or a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Multinational liquidity managementStaff leadership & managementExcellent verbal & written communication skillsCross border payment & collection methodsExperience of treasury management systemsFX exposure management experienceGood technical Treasury knowledge and ability to find relevant information and answersExposure to the delivery of financial and management information reporting cycle to senior managementA good grounding in treasury products and instrumentsStrong understanding of cash management and paymentsProven ability to work to tight deadlinesAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesStrong Excel capabilityBenefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people, including:
