Trading Manager (Pleasurecraft) – Home Based – ARD1050339We're on the hunt for a talented Trading Manager to join our team.
In this key role, you will lead and motivate a team of Market Underwriters, creating an environment focused on delivering high-quality service and surpassing expectations.
You will drive both financial and operational success, contributing to the broader goals set for our Navigators & General team.
Additionally, you will provide valuable support and guidance, ensuring the overall success of the team.
As the UK Commercial MGA for Ardonagh Advisory; a Gold rated Investor in Customer insurance business Geo specialise in Agriculture, Construction, Property, Liability, Marine and Protection lines, and home to top brands such as Thames Underwriting, Rural and Bravo Networks Underwriting, and continue to see successful growth both organically and through considered acquisition.What you will do as a Trading Manager:Business lead for Navigators & General's Pleasurecraft proposition.Maintain a detailed understanding of financial metrics and drivers of business performance to successfully achieve financial and operational plans.Motivate, coach and develop individuals to maximise potential & career progression.Build and manage relationships with brokers and direct customers, meeting customer needs to support the onboarding of new business and retention of existing customers by delivering an excellent service.Develop and enhance Navigators & General's proposition and approach to market, working with functional teams to develop digital capabilities and enhance service delivery and customer experience across the business.Ensure work is undertaken in accordance with appropriate quality standards and regulatory policies, delivering against key performance indicators.As a member of the Navigators & General leadership team, recognise and reward others and act as a role model within the business.
What are we looking for in our next Trading Manager:Good understanding of N&G business and UK Marine underwriting landscape.Effective personal and business organisational and planning skills, with the ability to think creatively about challenges.Be self-motivated, goal orientated and resilient in a highly pressured environment.Excellent communication skills, with an ability to develop relationships and influence others to support the delivery of service excellence.Experience of operational change within a direct-to-consumer environment.Basic knowledge of the insurance industry/Financial Services and the legal and regulatory environment is essential.Team management and Leadership experience preferable.Underwriting experience preferable.
