Rushall Day Centre is a service that is open Monday - Friday and supports Service Users with Learning and Physical Disability.
We are looking for someone who is a team player, has a fun personality with a positive attitude and is able to demonstrate out of the box thinking.
What you'll need:
Experience working with learning disabilities
Person centred
Full UK Driving Licence (Manual)
Be over the age of 25 due to being required to drive company vehicle
Support Worker Roles and Responsibilities
Experience in a Caring environment preferred but not essential
Able to work unsocialable hours, weekends and bank holidays
Shift patterns long days, evenings, weekends and waking nights
Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our Service Users
Ability to keep calm under pressure
Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team (family)
Passionate about making a positive difference to someone else's life

This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach.
Our support workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual's needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment.
The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
