What you'll doThe Test Coordinator works with the Test manager to ensure that quality is built into development of all solutions at all stages within the programme development lifecycle.
The Test Coordinator is accountable for providing expert practice advice and guidance as well as practical advice on complex technical testing issues.
The role is accountable for driving forward the quality agenda in the development of VBSE solutions and devising and monitoring progress using a range of quality metrics.
The Test Coordinator is responsible for developing capability within the test discipline and increasing knowledge & understanding of the importance of building in quality across the wider VBSE community.• Responsible for managing and executing the test strategy for projects incorporating the involvement of 3rd party partners/suppliers and internal teams.• Review, evaluate and turn acceptance criteria into detailed test plans with test cases that have clear scope, quality criteria and deliverables.• Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in an effective manner, assisting in the investigation and resolution where needed.• Ensure traceability back to the original requirements and subsequent execution of the relevant tests including reviewing 3rd party test exit reports to achieve the quality outcome for the business, including payment milestones.• Responsible for developing capability and skills within the test discipline.Who you are • ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing; Or Proven track record in Testing and leading digital teams • Must be able to maintain DV security clearance• Experience of designing test strategies to deliver test cycles (SIT, UAT, Non Functional Testing) for multiple releases/projects.• Experience in all testing levels (from Unit to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)).• Experience of upskilling others in test techniques and best practice• Experience of managing multiple workstreams.• The ability to manage risk and implement mitigation plans.
