Test Automation Engineer (Java)Location: Edinburgh Hybrid
We are looking for Test Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Edinburgh client and their team where you will be responsible for rigorous automated testing with Java of the company's applications including desktop, mobile apps, and APIs.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing and documenting thorough exploratory testing outcomes.Designing and developing automated tests according to behaviours and business rules.Reviewing user interfaces for conformity, functionality, and design guidelines.Interpreting and reporting testing results and being a vocal proponent for quality.Reacting quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.Maintaining good documentation and records of change controls in line with company standards.What you'll bring to the role:Core Java programming experience (most tests are written in Java).Solid test automation skills.Writing and maintaining testing frameworks with Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.CI/CD technologies as part of the SDLC, such as Git and TeamCity.Developing and prioritising test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.Familiarity with Linux OS environments, ideally including cloud-based VMs and Kubernetes.Familiarity with OpenFin, JavaScript, SQL, or Python would be useful.If you're ready to bring your expertise to an organisation at the forefront of technology, this could be the perfect role for you.
