Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a temporary part-time position?We have registered a rare opportunity to join our prestigious Client, on a temporary basis, in this vital role.This on-site role is being offered on a part-time, 28 hours a week (excluding lunch breaks) across a minimum of 4 working days per week.
Please only apply for this role if you are available immediately and able to commute to the office daily.Temporary Payroll Officer ResponsibilitiesManagement of monthly payrollPosting the monthly payroll and reconciliation of all payroll control accountsAct as the first point of contact for all payroll related queriesWorking with the HR team to support relevant new starter and leaver payroll processesPreparation of all statutory HMRC payroll reports and returnsProviding ad hoc general support to the finance team, as requiredTemporary Payroll Officer RewardsA competitive hourly rate is offered alongside holiday pay.The role is based within beautiful surroundings.Free lunches are offeredThe CompanyOur world renowned client offers a collaborative and friendly working environment, based on an attractive historic site.Temporary Payroll Officer RequirementsIt is essential you have a strong background in payroll managementAt least 2-3 years' experience in payroll managementKnowledge of payroll and finance systemsHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organisational skills and a methodical and structured approach to workExcellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of MS Office – with particular proficiency in ExcelExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)A proactive and positive "can do" approachStrong team playerDemonstrable experience of working to tight timescales and deadlinesAbility to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesThe
