Our client, a leading global law firm is seeking a skilled Technology Sourcing Manager to join their team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in driving the firm's technology-sourcing strategies and initiatives.
Position Overview As the Technology Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and management of suppliers across the Technology category, including software, hardware, network, SaaS, and IaaS.
This critical role involves developing and implementing effective sourcing and contracting strategies, managing complex and high-value projects, and ensuring adherence to the firm's Sourcing Policy.
Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of sourcing and contracting strategies for the Technology category Manage complex, strategic, and high-value sourcing projects while ensuring compliance with the Sourcing Policy Conduct contract and commercial supplier negotiations to achieve favourable terms and outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements Support the development and execution of a comprehensive Category Strategy for Technology Oversee due diligence processes and supplier audits to mitigate risks and ensure compliance Conduct regular Business Reviews with suppliers to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement Provide expert guidance on sourcing-related matters to regional offices and support their local initiatives Requirements Proven experience in sourcing and supplier management within the Technology/IT domain, preferably in a legal or professional services setting Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies and creating complex RFX documents Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier onboarding processes seamlessly Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a business-focused approach to problem-solving Experience in leading projects that enhance Sourcing and Supplier Management processes 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm or equivalent environment.
