Technical Testing Assurance Analyst (Tester)

Job summary Programme (ARP) Team are spread across the country and we are looking for a Technical Testing Assurance Analyst to join the Test Team based in our Barnsley Office in South Yorkshire.
ARP are looking for enthusiastic candidates up for a challenge, with the opportunity to develop, train and grow in a national team delivering technology changes to the English, Scottish and Welsh Ambulance Trusts.
ARP is currently in the process of introducing an array of new technology-based services to Ambulance Trusts and Air Ambulance charities.
The Services include the introduction of new technology to the national Ambulance fleet (approx.
6500 vehicles) and upgrading and developing new, data-rich communications products (apps and hardware) for use by over 15,000 front line paramedic and Control Room staff.
Overall, ARP is responsible for providing an end-to-end service covering installation, maintenance and replacement, which plays a key role in enabling effective response to critical life-threatening incidents.
Main duties of the job The candidate will undertake testing to support the delivery of upgrades to the communications systems in ambulance control rooms, as well as the end user equipment in emergency vehicles and that used by frontline crews.
This includes participating in a full suite of test activities including non-functional, performance, integration and full end to end functional and scenario testing including issue, risk and problem well as conducting testing at various locations, the candidate will review/ develop test documentation including test plans and test scripts, as well as keeping accurate and detailed records of testing compliance.
Other responsibilities include equipment tracking and auditing; fault analysis and quality assurance of defects raised/ recorded and progress updates; undertaking data analysis to interpret complex data and produce comprehensive test reports within set timescales.
The role requires handling diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
The candidate will also be expected to provide test and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

ARP has a team of over eighty staff consisting of commercial, finance, project, implementation, technical, user assurance and service are based all over the country to support the successful delivery and maintenance of a £460m programme of aim of ARP is to implement new technology that provides innovation and enhances patient care with the latest solutions also play a longer-term role in preparing the ambulance service for the adoption of the Home Office's Emergency Services Network (ESN).

Although the team is delivering complex programmes on behalf of the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC), the team is hosted by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, which means the successful candidate will enjoy all the benefits that working for an NHS Foundation Trust has to offer.

Production and maintenance of test documentation Understanding of Tetra radio configuration and programming software Knowledge and understanding of Mobile data networks Control room ICCS experience that includes Sever room and desktop support Desirable Experience of working with the Emergency Services Significant experience of working within a large-scale service management structure
