Technical Team Leader

Technical Team Leader Location: Rochester Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Team Leader to join our clients company based in Rochester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering development projects and addressing technical requests promptly.
This role requires collaboration with quality and production teams to ensure all products meet both internal and external specifications and standards.
You will work closely with the commercial team to manage customer technical requests and collect data for customer tenders.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure development projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Manage technical enquiries from Quality, Production, Commercial, and Supply Chain departments.
Assist the Quality team with supplier non-conformities (NCSs), internal manufacturing non-conformities (NCIs), and customer complaints (NCCs).
Attend and participate in DNO/iDNO customer Engineering Workshops as required.
Manage change requests for drawings, Bills of Materials, and Assembly Instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 4 HNC/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
Project management experience is essential.
Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, vacuum forming, CNC machining, etc.
Familiarity with power cable accessory equipment is beneficial but not crucial.
Knowledge of IEC/BSI/HD/ANSI Standards is advantageous.
