Job IntroductionAbout the role The Technical AQL support will be responsible for the following: Raw Materials Expertise: Samples and tests incoming raw materials Uses analytical techniques to examine raw materials and reports against agreed standard Co-ordinates effective raw material specification systems Food Safety and Quality Management: Works with the team to ensure accurate implementation and analysis of agreed standards.
Monitor the site specific HACCP plan and Quality Management Systems ensuring systems are maintained and retrievable Report any non-conformances to the appropriate people in a timely and effective manner Monitor the site Quality KPI's to deliver to agreed targets Measures, evaluates and proposes continuous improvements on food safety and quality management systems.About you Attention to detail and accuracy PC Literate Self Starter Team Worker – supports peers and team, and undertakes technical rota as required through peak periods/holidays Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Numeracy skills Strong influencing skills Desirable Foundation Level – HACCP and Food Hygiene Previous Food Manufacturing Experience Previous Auditing ExperienceThe food manufacturing industry is fast paced, so we require pace and agility along with resilience to ensure we continue to exceed our customers expectations.
