? We are looking for an Senior Infrastructure Engineer to come and join our Infrastructure Team, who will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future infrastructure at a client site in Newport, South Wales.
What you'll be doing: You will be responsible for alignment of all IT infrastructure aspects at the site in accordance with a unified approach.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment with constant change, delivering Infrastructure projects and working in a daily operations environment too.
You will be joining a very experienced team, who work in an agile fashion, working together and tackling BAU and projects head on as a collective, whilst maintaining a relaxed and fun workplace.
What you'll bring: Knowledge of Wintel computer hardware & operating systems (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019).
Virtualisation, VMware ESXi 7.x, including vSphere Compliance and right sizing.
Windows DNS & DHCP, with a good understanding of both principles.
TCP/IP troubleshooting skills.
Active Directory, Group Policy and Scripting Knowledge.
Windows Server patching using WSUS and SCCM.
It would be great if you had: Experience involving multiple Operating System vendors.
Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS).
Linux/Unix basic skills.
Security Clearance.

Employment Type:  Permanent Location:  Newport based, 5 days per week  Security Clearance Level:  SC Clearance or must be eligible Internal Recruiter : Josh Salary:  £45-57,000  Benefits:  25 days annual leave with the choice to buy additional days, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund Although this role is advertised as full-time, we support many ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements.
