Technical Product Owner - Data Salary Circa £85,000. A bit about the job: As a Technical Product Owner for Data, you are responsible for:
Full accountability for facilitating the delivery of data analytics products and services, working with a dedicated Data Engineering team. Overseeing the delivery of new data analytics capabilities and platform enhancements in accordance with the Aviva Zero Data Strategy, platform roadmap, and defined architecture patterns. Facilitating the delivery of key regulatory, performance, and financial data into the central BI reporting teams. Leading a stakeholder engagement and prioritisation strategy – enabling both internal and external demand - and providing clear direction into the Data Engineering team, working alongside the Lead Data Engineers to define agile sprint plans and target delivery dates for key feature builds. Providing oversight of a team with responsibility to develop, construct, test and maintain user-friendly data architectures and to design innovative new solutions to enable leading edge data science, whilst driving effective data governance. Lead the expansion of an Aviva Zero Data Strategy – with new Data Quality and Data Governance requirements at its heart. Support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling us to act in good faith towards customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives. Oversee business analysis and requirements definition activities - driving high performance and ensuring activities are carried out efficiently and to a high standard, whilst supporting performance management and coaching. Skills and experience we're looking for: Solid experience as a data-focused product manager, ideally within the context of insurance, with working knowledge of data modelling and querying techniques - experience working with Snowflake a bonus. Experience in handling complex, high-pressure, data analytics requirements. Versatile with multiple delivery methodologies, with strong cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities; able to balance desired pace of change with technical risk considerations. Technologically adept and demonstrates outstanding ability to translate and broker business-level product requirements with technical solution architectures and design patterns. Confident communicator in leading cross-functional change initiatives; managing overall product strategy alongside regulatory, information security, and legal compliance requirements. What you'll get for this role: Salary: Circa £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications). Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
