Role Purpose: Keytec Installation Services is part of the Genuit Group and dedicated to the delivery of quality products and services to the construction and civil engineering industry.
We have a wealth of relevant technical knowledge and experience of developing and installing geomembranes, gas protection products and stormwater management systems.
Based in our Rochdale office thee Technical Engineer will work with the sales department, assisting in installation design, producing technical drawings, technical literature and calculations when required.
Working Hours: 40hr per week, Monday – Friday Core Hours: 08:30am – 17:00 with 30 minutes lunch break.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Construction drawings - Drawing take offs - Various calculations including structural and floatation - Liaison with customers, contractors, consultant engineers - Providing technical advice to customers and sales team - Attendance at site when required Person Specification: - Experience of using AutoCAD essential - Civil Engineering qualification preferred - Able to undertake mathematical analysis - Previous experience of working in the construction/building industry an advantage - Experience of interpreting data - An understanding of contract law would be an advantage - Strong communication skills both verbal and written - Able to use own initiative - Ability to work in a team environment and on own initiative - Professional and business minded - Willing to develop technically - Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent time management skills - Positive and resilient - Strong computer skills - Flexible and able to work to the needs of the business - Strong work ethic The Benefits - Contributory pension scheme - 25 days Holiday - Share save Scheme - Cycle to work scheme - Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 confidential telephone helpline support - Free on-site parking We operate an Equal Opportunities Policy.
