Senior Or Principal Engineer (Bridges)

Responsibilities :- Prepare outline and detailed design for a wide array of civil engineering projects with a focus on bridge design and assessment works - Follow check and approve procedures throughout project delivery - Undertake the duties of designer as highlighted in CDM/CSM legislation - Engage with clients and support successful project delivery - Support the development and growth of the bridge engineering team - Contribute to company goals and business improvement - Continue your own professional development - Support junior staff development Required Experience:- CEng or IEng qualified with a professional body i.e.
ICE, IStructE or on route- Demonstratable experience in a Civil Engineering role, ideally acting as CRE, CRE under mentorship - Experience of civil engineering design, in particular bridge design and assessment in the railway industry, including an understanding of Network Rail standards - A Civil Engineering degree - Knowledge of civil design and construction principles and standards - Eurocode experience - Experience in delivering to safety standards and CDM/CSM requirements - Experience of commercial awareness including programming and delivery to budgets/timescales - Proficient in the use of computer analysis programs e.g.
TEDDS and Supersuite.
- Knowledge of producing drawings by using 2D/3D Microstation
