Job description: Team Leader Level 3 -Top BananasThe Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete a Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship at Top Bananas as a Baby Room LeaderTop Bananas Pre-School opened in 2016 and expanded to a Day Nursery in 2019.
It is located within the Life Centre, Moordown.
It is run by highly qualified and experienced practitioners who are enthusiastic about their role.
The ethos of the setting is to Play, Learn and Grow together.
Top Bananas is situated within the Life Centre.
It has its own private entrance via Brassey Road, 100 meters along on the left hand side.
Enter through the car park and towards the back, where the outside play area can be seen.
A secure door entry system is in place to ensure the safety of the children.
The Pre-School and Nursery have their own separate entrance and this is clearly visible.Your roles and responsibilities will include; Will be responsible for the room audit, Funding audit and the medicine audit.To ensure the registers are in place.Will be responsible for 3 members of staff, ensuring that they are supported.Will be a key person.Delegate to the team of staffSupervise and engage with children during playtime, always ensuring their safety and well-being.
Liaise with parents, and colleagues and professionals.Be hands on and manage daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times.Drive initiatives that promote social skills, creativity, and emotional development among children.Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour as required.
Requirements; A Level 3 Childcare Qualification is requiredGCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e.
functional skillsMust obtain a clear DBS Hours; Top Bananas are open between the hours of 07.15-17.45 Monday-FridayWorking hours will be 40 hours per week
