EYFS 1-1 Learning Support Assistant job summary
Wilstead Primary School is looking for a motivated individual with experience of working with challenging behaviour to join our happy and hardworking EYFS team.
The school is situated in the lovely Bedfordshire countryside, advocates alternative and individualised approaches to teaching and learning and promotes an inclusive and therapeutic approach to behaviour management.
We need someone with experience of working with primary pupils with social and emotional needs and a good understanding of positive behaviour management strategies, which can be applied on a 1:1 basis.

Team Teach trained is an advantage, but training can be given.
Previous experience with ASD diagnosis also preferred.
The role is part time, requires a strong, kind and patient personality, good interpersonal skills, adaptability and a sense of humour!
This is a fixed term contract, tied to the child's funding.
With the option to extend for the right candidate and if we retain the pupil in our setting for another year.
