We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated, resilient, dedicated and caring individual to work with a Year 5 child with social and emotional needs, as a special needs assistant.
You will be supporting them to participate in planned learning activities and to support their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
The ideal candidate for the role will be TA Level 2 qualified or equivalent with experience of supporting a child with social and emotional needs, which can at times display challenging behaviours, with teaching and learning in an educational setting.
The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role.
The post holder must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
