For a recent graduate looking to obtain experience as a Teaching Assistant before beginning teacher training, this is an excellent opportunity.
Through 1:1 support for children with a range of additional needs, such as those with lower literacy levels, English as a second language, and Special Education Needs, you will have the chance to increase academic achievement.

Your duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:
Assist in carrying out educational strategies that are appropriate for each child's learning goals.
Develop a connection of trust with every child and speak to them in terms they can understand.
Encourage diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, and make sure all the children have equal access to learning and growth.
Encourage children's involvement and make sure they are paying attention during the lesson.
Provide opportunities for developing independence.
Give children, parents, and caregivers feedback about their development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of the national curriculum Experience working with KS 1/2 pupils A drive to inspire the next generation Eligibility to work in the UK An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Employers will also be looking for those who are:
