Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: SK5 Pay Rates: £12.83-£14.23 per hour Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday Reeson education are currently seeking a teaching assistant to work within one of our partner schools in SK5.
The school is described as having a 'family feel' and being an environment where individuals are nurtured and valued, and staff make a real effort to get to know them and their lives outside school.
About the teaching assistant role: The nature of the role is to work as a teaching assistant within a Year 3 class with a girl who has SEMH needs, on a 1:1 basis.
The teaching assistant role is confirmed until the end of the academic year and with the possibility to extend beyond and remain with the pupil in the new academic year.
You will be working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team to ensure correct plans are in place to best assist the young girl.
She has SEMH needs which can lead to her becoming emotionally dysregulated.
There are some behavioural needs, but the school massively support the pupil, and you will work collectively as a team throughout the day to make sure the appointed teaching assistant also feels supported.
