Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in our partner primary schools across North Manchester on short and/or long term contracts.

Join our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond… This Teaching Assistant job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be based in either a KS1 or KS2 class.
You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required.
This Teaching Assistant job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.
Teaching Assistant - Role & Responsibilities: · Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children · Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs · Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate · Deliver catch-up sessions Teaching Assistant - Non-negotiables: · Have a relevant childcare qualification or above · Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND within the past two years · Must have a passion for education · Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills · Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher Why choose Milk?
