Teaching Assistant (Focused On Interventions) - West Croft School

West Croft School is a large rapidly improved, maintained school and nursery in the beautiful town of Bideford.We have the opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our team as a teaching assistant; focused on delivering interventions to small groups of children.
You will have excellent communication skills and be confident in adapting the learning to the needs of the children.
You will also be committed to building good relationships with the children, family and other adults in the class.
Experience of working with children with additional behavioural needs is essential as the position will include an element of 1:1 working with SEN pupils.
The post is temporary due to external funding.West Croft has been graded as 'good' in all areas by Ofsted, with the inspectors stating that 'staff provide pupils with a rich variety of experiences which strengthen independence and build character'.
