Eastwood Grange are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our Teaching team!
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils.
The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
Eastwood Grange is a day school, located in the village of Ashover, near Chesterfield, that provides a high quality of education for up to 50 boys and girls for the age of 5 to 18.
All our pupils have education, health and care plans and experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The introduction of girls and a lower age group is new and has been achieved through a complete refurbishment and material change to the school.

We are looking for an innovative and creative thinker who can bring the curriculum to life both inside and outside of the classroom environment.

You will bring ideas, energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to measuring progress and raising attainment for your students.
We want all of our children to experience learning a high quality curriculum and the ability to teach subjects across the curriculum is required to support the schools offer of a broad and balanced curriculum.
An understanding of the primary based topic lead currculum would be desirable to meet the children's needs, and you will need the ability to deliver all Core subjects for children working across Key Stages 2 and 3 as well as supporting our Indentity Curriculum, which includes the delivery of PSHE, SMSC/FBV, RSE and CIAG, alongside the delivery of Foundation Stage lessons via topic based learning.
There will be an opportunity for you to utilise personal skills and interests that might help to support our expanding curriculum in practical ways.
A big part of your role will be to equally support the children social and emotional needs in a pastoral role, via the SEAL curriculum.
Our curriculum is supported by our own therapeutic and extended Pastoral Team that work alongside our teaching staff to help and support the pupils.You will benefit from opportunities for further professional development and career progression as we value and support our staff in all aspects of school life.
We have a comprehensive induction programme for staff and a highly supportive leadership team.
This post will need to be filled for after the Easter Holidays.
