Tax Manager

Exciting Tax Manager role with a well-renowned consumer brand with a global footprint.
This is a 12-month contract role based in Central London.

Primary responsibilities will include: Utilising your knowledge of tax and accounting systems and processes related to invoice life-cycle Ability to translate complex VAT regulations into practical and clear requirements for both tax and non-tax stakeholders Assist with the delivery of planning, real time coordination, and communication of projects related to various aspects of invoice processing Identify and define risks, opportunities, and strategy using your expertise and judgement to support decisions needed to implement the projects Collaborate with tax, financial, business and tech partner teams.
This includes drafting the appropriate level of documentation to support analyses performed, decisions made and conclusions reached Effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
Support engagements with external advisors The successful candidate: 5+ years VAT experience (Big 4 or professional services or in-house tax experience firm highly regarded) Relevant professional accounting or tax qualification International VAT experience in both practice and industry Enjoys a fast-paced environment Strong stakeholder engagement skills across multiple departments Available immediately or at short notice Benefits: 12 month contract initially with possibility for extension Day rate role with additional holiday pay accrued over the length of the contract Gain experience in complex tax issues in a fast moving and growing business State-of-the art office building and amenities Conveniently located near Liverpool St Station
