Group Accountant

Goodman Masson are delighted to be partnered with a multibillion pound, multinational construction company on their search for a newly-qualified accountant to join their Group Finance team.

Job Title: Group Accountant Salary: up to £70k + Bonus Location: London - flexible hybrid working As part of a fast-paced and flat-structured Group team, this role offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to maintaining the businesses market-leading position as a pivotal member of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Accounting: Manage key accounting areas (pensions, share-based payments, etc.)
and support complex transactions.
Financial Reporting: Contribute to key financial reports (e.g., cash flow, impairment reviews) and analyse accounting impacts.
Management Support: Provide insightful analysis and support to senior management.
Team Support: Assist the Head of Group Finance in implementing and maintaining key technical areas.
This company also offers wonderful internal prospects following a period in Group Finance, as reflected by multiple examples of subsequent internal team-member moves.

The ideal candidate will be newly qualified (ACA), preferably from a 'big 4' or top 10 firm, looking for their first role in industry.
Exposure to listed, multinational and complex clients is also essential.
