They are seeking a skilled Systems Support Engineer to deliver outstanding technical support across a range of environments, including public and private clouds, networking, and systems infrastructure.
The successful Systems Support Engineer will provide high-quality proactive support for managed service clients, ensuring systems are maintained for maximum reliability.
The Systems Support Engineer will also assist with project implementations, mentor junior team members, and contribute to customer-specific technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Systems Support Engineer: Provide comprehensive support for customer networks, applications, and hardware Oversee, update, and secure Azure Stack systems Execute data backups and disaster recovery processes as needed Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and networks Monitor system performance, implementing adjustments to enhance efficiency and uptime Apply robust security, resilience, and backup measures Maintain and create user guides and technical documents to streamline processes Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to ensure swift issue resolution Participate in on-call support rotation Essential Skills Required of the Systems Support Engineer: Solid experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly in Azure and Azure Stack Proficient with virtualisation and containerisation tools like VMware and Hyper-V Strong understanding of networking, including OSI layers and TCP/IP Familiarity with enterprise-grade hardware solutions for compute, storage, LAN, WLAN, and EUC Hands-on experience with monitoring systems (e.g., LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, PRTG) Demonstrated ability to create and maintain quality support documentation Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or VCP (desired) Must possess valid driving license and personal vehicle To discuss this exciting opportunity in more detail, please APPLY NOW.
